Director of Communications
My role is to creatively and effectively communicate everything that is happening at Open Door. I am also involved in the strategic planning of the church as we cooperate with the mission God has given us to “Lead People in the Adventure of Becoming like Christ”.
I have been incredibly blessed with an amazing husband and three wonderful children. Ken and I will be celebrating our 20th year anniversary this April. Amanda, our oldest, is a freshmen in college, Lea is in eighth grade and Jared is in fifth grade. Each one is such a gift from God and it is so exciting to see how God is shaping their lives.
I do what most Moms do when not at work . . . kid’s events! I love to go and watch my kids as they play sports, act in school plays, play instruments in concerts or march in band shows. I love to watch as God reveals to them a passion for something or a gifting that He has given them. I also LOVE to travel! My dream would be to travel the whole world.
I am a local; was raised in Sheffield Lake, Ohio. I graduated from Brookside High School and went on to graduate from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. My background includes roles such as District Supervisor for Aldi Foods, Inc., Recruiter for TAD Staffing Services and Sales and Marketing for Kanary’s Landscaping, Inc. I have a passion to serve the Lord wherever He wants and as I have tried to follow His leading in my life, my path has led me to serve here as Director of Communications.
